JUNIOR IT STORAGE ENGINEER

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Basic experience or knowledge in installing, configuring, and managing enterprise IT products and solutions

  • Understanding of storage types: block (FC, iSCSI), file (CIFS, NFS), object (S3), and backup technologies

  • Basic knowledge of RAID technologies

  • Familiarity with storage technologies: SAN, NAS, DAS

  • Basic understanding of virtualization technologies

  • Good command of English (reading, writing, speaking)

  • Basic knowledge of server products

  • Basic understanding of IP networks and switch configurations

  • Flexible with working hours, including night shifts or remote operations

  • Open to travel to other cities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer support operations, issue handling, proactive assurance delivery

  • Assist in understanding customer requirements and supporting the team in providing suitable storage solutions

  • Support installation and management of servers and virtualization software

  • Provide support and understand it/storage problems to transfer to L2

  • Provide customer support service to resolve issues and risks
