Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior IP Network Engineer to design, implement, operate, and optimize large-scale enterprise network infrastructures. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, security, scalability, and reliability of the company’s LAN, WAN, data center, internet, and cloud connectivity services.

This position requires strong expertise in enterprise routing and switching technologies, network security, troubleshooting, network automation, and multi-vendor network environments. The Senior IP Network Engineer will also provide technical leadership, contribute to architecture decisions, and support critical network transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, data center, internet, and cloud network infrastructures.

· Configure and manage NCE Platforms, routers, switches, firewalls, wireless systems, and network management platforms.

· Design and operate dynamic routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF and IS-IS.

· Manage enterprise technologies such as VLAN, STP, LACP, VRF, MPLS, VPN, QoS, SDN, SD-WAN and network segmentation.

· Maintain highly available network architectures using redundancy, load balancing, failover and disaster-recovery mechanisms.

· Monitor network availability, capacity, latency, packet loss and overall service performance.

· Perform advanced troubleshooting of complex network incidents and identify root causes.

· Lead major incident resolution activities and coordinate with internal teams, service providers and technology vendors.

· Develop network implementation plans, migration procedures, rollback plans and change documentation.

· Perform network capacity planning and recommend infrastructure upgrades.

· Review network configurations and identify security, compliance, performance and operational risks.

· Implement network access controls, segmentation policies and security best practices.

· Participate in network architecture, modernization, data center migration and cloud transformation projects.

· Maintain accurate network diagrams, IP address plans, configuration standards and operational documentation.

· Create technical standards, low-level designs, methods of procedure and troubleshooting guides.

· Provide technical mentoring and guidance to junior and mid-level network engineers.

· Ensure that all network changes comply with change-management, security and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering or a related discipline.

· At least 7 years of professional experience in enterprise or service-provider IP networking.

· Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, subnetting and network communication principles.

· Strong hands-on experience with enterprise routing and switching technologies.

· Advanced knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VLAN, STP, LACP, VRF, HSRP, VRRP and QoS.

· Experience with WAN, MPLS, SD-WAN, IPsec VPN and remote-access technologies.

· Experience managing network devices from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Huawei or Nokia.

· Strong knowledge of network security concepts, including firewalls, access control lists, network segmentation and zero-trust principles.

· Experience preparing technical documentation, network diagrams and implementation procedures.

· Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

· Professional working proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

· Relevant professional certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, CCIE, JNCIP, JNCIE, HCIP, HCIE or equivalent is plus.

· Experience with data center technologies such as VXLAN, EVPN, leaf-spine architecture and multi-chassis link aggregation.

· Knowledge of NAC, 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, DNS, DHCP and IP address management systems.

· Experience working in large, geographically distributed or multinational enterprise environments.

· Familiarity with compliance frameworks, configuration auditing and network configuration drift management.
