CORE NETWORK ENGINEER

We are looking for bold engineering professionals to join a world-class telecommunications leader. As a Core Network Engineer, you will turn your technical knowledge into impact by supporting core network operations, executing solution implementations, and optimizing system performance.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional engineering squads to maintain infrastructure reliability and accelerate digital transformation journeys. Key Responsibilities
Support technical solutions and implementations across EPC, vEPC, 5GC, PCC, and Diameter networks, covering domain interfaces and protocol stacks based on 3GPP specifications and RFCs.
Execute installation, integration, ATP testing, and solution implementation workflows for SGSN, MME, SGW, and PGW components.
Support 5G SA Architecture deployments incorporating AMF, SMF, UPF, PCF, UDM, and NRF nodes.
Monitor the KPI system of PS products and utilize standard measurement mechanisms to optimize overall network performance.
Locate and analyze technical faults occurring during end-to-end data transmission, performing troubleshooting for PS Core products including call trace messages.
Perform routine network operation and maintenance activities, including information collection, message tracing, alarm checks, and performance statistics checks to locate and demarcate typical faults.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues within telco virtualization environments including NFVI, VIM, VNFM, and MANO layers.
Utilize Wireshark or similar specialized network tools to conduct detailed packet and trace analysis.
Govern IP communications by applying technical knowledge of IP addressing, subnetting, VLAN/VXLAN, OSPF, switching, and routing protocols.
Apply routing policies and configure route reflectors within BGP routing environments.
Maintain excellent communication, documentation, reporting, and problem troubleshooting skills throughout project lifecycles.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferably in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.
Foundational technical knowledge of Cloud Core Domains and Telco Virtualization frameworks like NFVI, VIM, VNFM, and MANO.
Customer-oriented mindset backed by sharp analytical thinking skills.
Ability to work effectively under professional pressure and manage technical risks.
Ability to perform proactive self-study on new engineering topics to continuously enhance technical experience.
Ability to work seamlessly in a team, both professionally and personally, across different reporting schemes.
Fluency in both spoken and written English.
Ability to travel and full availability to support technical operations within a 7/24 flexible roster.
Having a CCNA or CCNA Voice Course certification is considered a distinct professional plus.
